Ward Town Hall Meeting Saturday, May 13 
 
       In addition to the usual development updates and opportunities to share your concerns, this month’s town hall will include a speaker from West Metro Fire to talk about preparing for this summer’s wild land fire season and any updates on the arson investigation.  Meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. at the GM Presbyterian Church (Mississippi & Alameda). 
 
Annexation Study Session May 15
 
        City Council study session on annexations has been rescheduled for May 15 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.  Public comment is permitted both before and after the staff presentation.        

      

 

Public Meeting on 250 Apts. / Ohio Ave. May 16
 
         The developer for the proposed 250 apartments along W. Ohio Ave.  (between Safeway and Foothills School) is having a neighborhood meeting on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Green Mountain High School commons area. 
 
Community Garden Organizing Meeting May 22
 
         The first official meeting of the community gardens at Foothills Elementary School will be Monday, May 22 at 4:30 p.m.in the Foothills Elementary School library .
 
 
Union Blvd. Transportation Study May 23
  
      Open House to discuss ideas for transportation in the Union Blvd. area will be Tuesday, May 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Old Chicago restaurant.
